Cookie Policy

A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser. We use as few as we can, and we ask before setting any that are not strictly necessary.

Strictly necessary — no consent needed

These make signing in and staying secure possible. The site cannot work without them, so they are set without asking.

• Session cookie — keeps you signed in. Expires when you sign out, or after two hours of inactivity.
• CSRF token — stops another site submitting forms as you. Expires with your session.
• Cookie choice — records the decision you make below, so we do not ask again. Kept for one year. Storing your decision is the one purpose that does not itself require consent.

Analytics — only with your consent

If you accept, we use Google Analytics to understand which pages are used and where people run into trouble. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not link it to your account.

• Advertising features and ad personalisation are switched off.
• Your IP address is truncated before it is stored.
• Nothing loads at all until you accept. This is not a tag that loads and then declines to track — the script is simply absent from the page.

What we do not use

No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, no social media pixels, no session recording, and no fingerprinting.

Changing your mind

You can change your choice at any time, and it takes effect immediately.
